New changing facilities for Fairhaven Golf Club.

Case Study

We are proud to show off the photos of the now completed joinery work carried out by Parry Joinery at Fairhaven Golf Club. This is a prestigious Golf Club where professional golf started back in 1934 when the course played host to the Penfold Tournament. Since then both the course and the clubhouse and its facilities have undergone several phases of modernisation and improvements, of which the most recent, Parry Joinery were asked to be involved.
The work undertaken during these recent renovations included ‘bespoke furniture’ that Parry Joinery manufactured to our client’s specifications. This involved manufacturing two different styles of bespoke joinery benches both incorporating a softwood carcass with an edging made from laminated Avignon walnut. Both designs incorporated a series of stainless steel shoe racks and an upholstered foam filled seat which was finished with a hard-wearing, fine grained, faux leather waterproof fabric in a stylish ‘Orzan’ colour. As well as the changing benches we also created a similar design to the bespoke seen in the images below that incorporates a curved ‘goalpost’ style rail, ideal for coat hangers or for hanging other items on. The posts were made from a black powder-coated steel and run from the floor to full height whilst the shoe racks were created using hollow stainless steel tubes.
Alongside this we were also responsible for the manufacture of a number of internal timber doors and frames. The doors are veneered walnut Fire Doors made using Halspan solid particle cores. These were supplied with the required glazing seals, clocking beads, meeting stiles and finished with our standard lacquer. Whilst the door frames were manufactured using 5th Redwood softwood. This was then matched with Lambs Tongue 5th Redwood skirting.
As you can see from the photos the finished look is contemporary whilst functional at the same time.
