Stunning External Door & Frame in Oval Room Blue – North Wales

Case Study

We have recently completed the manufacture of a series of bespoke single external doors and frames to the size and details provided by our client based in Anglesey, North Wales.

Both the door and the frame, for the bespoke external door shown in the image, were manufactured using Accoya, a highly stable and durable type of modified timber. All Accoya timber has the added bonus of being FSC certified, which means that the timber used was sustainably sourced. The supply chain for this accreditation is rigorously monitored to ensure reliability and authenticity.

The door was assembled with traditional mortice and tenon construction with flat panels and Bolection mouldings. It was fitted with the customers chosen London brand of Banham L200 night latch & Banham M2002 Deadlock.

The door was supplied fully factory finished in an Oval Room Blue paint with a range of ironmongery such as a letter plate, Victorian ring knocker, door viewer and door knob, all in polished chrome.

The door frame was rebated for an inward opening door and finished with white weatherseal and a timber sill with a brown weatherbar. Further images to follow of the frame once the door and frame have been fitted on site.
